Making A Purchase
 
Making a purchase of a ladder could not be easier, browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, please read these terms and conditions prior to a purchase and download a copy for your information.  When you have do so click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Please remember to have your personal and credit card details to hand.

 

You may purchase products online with your credit card or call 01271 858698 to purchase direct by telephone.

 

We reserve the right to change our prices on occasions. All price changes will be adjusted on the website. Once you have purchased an item you will of course pay the price issued at that time. All prices as at 1 Jan 2010 include 17.5% VAT and FREE delivery (with one or two exceptions, we will notify you of this) in the UK mainland.

 

Payment will be actioned before goods are dispatched .  Overnight carriages charges are shown on the invoice.

Shipping And Handling
 
All prices, include VAT and standard delivery is FREE to UK Mainland. All Islands, Higlands, Western Isles /N Ireland call us before you order. You will be required to sign for the product on arrival. But please be aware of the procedures below:

 

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS

When your product arrives, we believe it is not unreasonable for us to expect you to inspect the goods and ensure that they are in good condition and not an unsatisfactory condition. If you receive a product in an unsatisfactory condition (i.e damaged) DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY DO NOT SIGN FOR IT, and inform us on 01271 858698 as quickly as possible, so we can send a replacement.

If you are not able to fully inspect a package in the presence of the carrier, TREAT IT AS DAMAGED sign for it as "DAMAGED" and DELETE the RECIEVED IN GOOD CONDITION box and put "DAMAGED". This will alert the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming. Should you find later that the product is damaged, we can then replace it easily.
You may also use DAMAGED / UNCHECKED if you feel unsure..
 
Do not sign for a product as received in good condition unless you are happy that it is. 
 
In either case please retain all paperwork and inform us on 01271 858698 or fax 01271 858698 within 24 hours monday to friday.
 
Where a manufacturers lifetime guarantee is shown, for welds and defects, the manufacturer will inspect and decide as to defect or abuse, if the latter exists you will be charged for the repair and any transport charges related.
 
The guarantee applies to the product remaining in the possesion of the original purchaser, transfer is not permitted.
 
If the manufacturers product is at fault, we will replace or repair the faulty part. The buyer will not be entitled to claim in respect of such goods for work done theron, transport costs, loss of profit, of resale or in sale, respect of claim loss, damage or expenses, whatsoever, other than replacement cost thereof,. Complaints are dealt with quickly and fairly, we keep you informed at all times

 

 

 

Delivery Schedule
 
Our intentions are to always to get the product to you within 7 working days (mon to fri) (UK Mainland only), we do operate a next day delivery service, (some items may cost more due to weight, length over 3m or certain specialist items, towers etc we will advise you). Orders would have to be placed no later than 11am to allow the order to be processed and dispatched. Orders are delivered by carrier during normal working hours 8-30am - 5.00pm ( Mon to Fri.) no deliveries on weekends.  If an item is booked for a next day delivery, or time specific delivery and fails to arrive at the designated time, a fefund for that charge will be given.  If an item fails to arrive we will not be responsible for any other loss of income, earnings etc related to its delivery.
 
Items which are out of stock, will be notified to you and instructions taken as to how you wish to proceed.

We only ship and deliver to mainland UK and some of its islands. We do NOT ship overseas at this time.  

The delivery company will only deliver to the premises. He/She will not carry any package parcel into your premises, that is your responsibility to do so. Do not ask the driver to assist you.
 
 

 

Back Orders
 
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

 

Tax Charges

VAT is charged at 17.5% on all goods - if you require a full vat invoice please request one.

 
Credit Card Security
 
All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using a secure portal.

 

It is our intention to make your purchase as safe and secure as possible. Always ensure that the padlock sign is visible on the site prior to purchase.

We may contact you by phone to verify personal details, or contact your card issue company to verify your details, for your security and as a measure against fraud.

 

Guarantee of return/damages/cancellation
 
You have 7 working days in which to return your order, this starts from the day after taking delivery of the product. You may return the product without any reasons given; and be given a full refund, however the goods will be returned at your own expense.   This does not apply made to measure bespoke orders, no refund will be forthcoming.
 
A refund will be given once the product has been received in sound condition for resale. If the product has been misused, damaged or is in an unfit condition for re-sale a refund may not be given
 
Please be advised that the risk of damage, for returned items are your responsibility and you are advised to cover any returned item(s) with adequate courier insurance, you are required to take care of the product whilst in your or your couriers care.   Where products are made to order, the right to cancel will not apply.
 
Damaged
 
Where a product has arrived damaged and you have checked it, as requested in accordance with shipping and handling above, we do our best to send out a replacement asap and we will collect the damaged item.
 
What must customers do if they want to cancel or return the item?

They must tell us in writing  if they want to cancel. This includes letter, fax or email. A phone call is not enough unless backed up in writing.  You must confirm we have received your request.  Cancellation notice date will be the date you give notice to us. 

 

Complaints are dealt with quickly and fairly, we keep you informed at all times.

 

This does not affect your statutory rights as a cunsumer.
