Vertical Hatch Loft Ladder Concertina
This Vertical Hatch Loft Ladder Concertina comes in four standard sizes and is constructed from pressure die-cast aluminium, the ladder unit is supplied without the trap and lining.
These loft ladders are perfect for installations where a lined wall aperture already exists, but it is also suitable for installation onto mezzanine floors and ladder can also be mounted onto walls to give vertical loft access for service maintenance.
They are supplied as a ready to fit unit fixed to a 600 x 200mm laminated wood mounting board, which is screwed to a hinge mechanism. Counterbalance springs mounted on the hinge brackets plus control springs in the side arms ensure that the stairway operates smoothly and safely with the minimum of effort.
They can also be fitted with a telescopic handrail , it is possible to have the handrail on the left or indeed on both sides.

(The going from floor to floor is set at twenty two and a half degrees, so suffient space must be allowed for this as it does not drop vertically.)
JUN01v - Ceiling height up to 2500mm - Min apperture 600 x 770 - 09 tread 350mm wide
JUN02v - Ceiling height 2501-2790mm - Min apperture 600 x 820 - 10 tread 350mm wide
JUN03v - Ceiling height 2791-3090mm - Min apperture 600 x 900 - 11 tread 350mm wide
JUN04v - Ceiling height 3091-3390mm - Min apperture 600 x 970 - 12 tread 300mm wide
