This folding midmade loft LUX ladder is delivered assembled ready to fit with detailed assembly instructions and pictures of the unit.
Constructed for easy installation with architrave frame, pre-drilled assembly holes fitting springs at the front and at the back.
Gas piston balanced trap door with an espagnolette lock with two bolts, very easy to manoeuvre with opening handle. Trap door is sealed to prevent heat loss and draught. The trap door has an elegant architrave, surface treated in matt white finish and is effectively insulated with 50mm insulation.
This is the timber version, and ladder is also available in aluminium. Both fit onto the hatch door when folded and no clearance is required.
The protective pads included are to be attached to the bottom of the step tread after adjusting the length.
