The Vehicle Ladders - Lorry have been developed following a ladder risk assessment.
Theladdersassessment showed that there was a need for vehicle ladders when transporting small machines, tower crane sections, by either flat bed articulated or 8 wheel rigid trucks.
There was often a need to mount the lorry to attach straps to the tie down points." Traditionally, drivers would use whatever means was available to climb onto the lorry, however, the new ladder product offers the following features and benefits:
Use with existing flat bed fleets including curtain sided
Clamps firmly to the lorry to prevent ladder slipping or moving during use
Handrails which extend 1m above the bed of the lorry
Designed to be deployed at any position around the trailer
